This is just a little patch that fixes some issues the game has when running on the Steam Deck. Patch Notes: - Fixed an issue where keyboard glyphs would show up on the start screen even when a controller was plugged in. - Mouse movement alone no longer causes the game to switch from gamepad to keyboard controls. - An in-game license text window is now used when a controller is plugged in.

A Short Hike hits PlayStation and Xbox on 16th November. Adam Robinson-Yu's A Short Hike, one of the very best games of 2019, is already out on PC and Nintendo Switch. Its launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One means players on PS4 Pro, PS5, Xbox One X and Series S and X can experience A Short Hike in 4K. Since then, A Short Hike has won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize and the Audience Award at the 2020 Independent Games Festival! It still feels surreal to me, but I wanted to thank everyone who played and shared my game. The Itch.io Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality has been a stunning success, raising $8.1m for funds supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
