Today's update fixes the secret scoring bug where you could get an extra two points by holding one of your Nerts cards when you click the "LOCK IN" button. I probably should have fixed this months ago...
Today's update adds ping times to the lobby list and an "override ready" button that the host can use to force uncooperative players to ready up.
Just a quick update to fix the holographic card backs on Mac and Linux, which use OpenGL instead of DirectX. Oops!
Today's update brings back the Nerts bonus as one of three new "house rules" that can be enabled in non-public lobbies. You can now change the Nerts bonus (0, 5, or 10 points), change the length of the game (100, 75, or 50 points), and enable a "balance mode" that gives players 1 additional Nerts card for each 25 points they have. There are a few new technical details that go with this: Switching a lobby to public will lock these settings to their defaults. When a non-hosting player joins a public lobby it will be locked to public. Lobby settings cannot be changed while a game is in progress.
Today's update adds an option to toggle between standard card faces and new high-visibility card faces, which have larger numbers and a single large suit symbol in the center.
Today's update removes the experimental 10 point Nerts bonus. It will return as an optional lobby setting once I find some time to add a proper lobby settings menu. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Today's update adds public matchmaking. When you create a lobby you can now set the lobby type to "fully public" from the options menu, which will cause it to show up in the lobby lists of other players. The default setting is "friends and groups", is equivalent to the old behavior from before this update and does not include the game in the public lobby list. Today's update includes the following changes: Increased the number of per-player "tableau" stacks to 6 in 1-2 player games and 5 in 3 player games. This changes the strategy a little, but makes the speed of gameplay more consistent regardless of the number of players. Changed the rules so that when players get stuck we now end the round instead of shuffling decks for a third time. The first two shuffles remain unchanged.
