Hi there, this is a bit akward but like a year ago I fixed a notable bug and pushed it to the beta branch, but then never set it live. So I'm finally doing that. However, when I went to do that I saw that I also didn't set the previous version live ... nor the version before that.So, to be honest ... right after the big Boss Rush update I made some small fixes and balance tweaks, but then I only ever pushed them to the beta branch, and never put them live (???). So they've just been sitting there for over two years (!) ... where does the time go ...Anyway, it's akward pushing an update that tw

This Saturday, 30th September, 14:15 CET, Roto Force will be part of the SHMUP Fest Relay 2023. This is an event hosted by the SHMUP fan community and will showcase amazing games and amazing players. Hi Everyone! First off: the game will be 20% OFF during Steam SHMUP Fest! Roto Force admittedly only very loosely fits the definition of a SHMUP, but until Steam creates the "Rotating Arena Bullet Hell Run 'n' Gun" Fest, this will do just fine. This update is meant to smooth out the difficulty curve for first time players, as well as giving veterans something to chew on. Some of the bosses proved to be a bit of a too steep step up in difficulty than they were intended to. Bugfixes: - fix several rare crashes - fix a few typos - fix super loud audio glitch with final boss and grenade launcher Features: - make restarting with same weapon slightly faster by having the currently selected weapon always appear next to the player upon restarting - add "Color Correction" to Graphic Options. This allows to adjust Brightness (-20% to +20%) Contrast (-50% to +50%) Grayscale (anything between 0% (regular) to 100% (fully grayscale))

Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce that Roto Force, a game I've been working on for some years now, will finally release this summer July 18th! Spread the word, get excited, wishlist the game, do what you need to do! For this occasion the demo has also been updated to reflect the current state of the game. As always, reporting any crashes you encounter helps me prevent them from happening, also eager to hear about any options or settings you might be missing. This is a small update to the demo, to fix a crash on startup for older graphics cards. Also includes minor bug fixes and quality of life improvements. If you encounter any issues, please feel free to report them in the forums or send an email (the game will show an email address upon crashing). The demo will continue to be updated with crash fixes.
