Spidersaurs was conceived by WayForward creative director Matt Bozon as a run-'n'-gun action game based on an '80s TV show license that didn't really exist! The phony show's premise was that scientists used dinosaur DNA to create supersized insect/dino hybrids as a solution to world hunger, which was based on a real-world theory that bugs could be the future diet for humans, being plentiful and nutrient rich.
