Hi everyone, It’s (almost) the 4 year anniversary of Severed Steel’s launch so I thought I’d put together a small celebration! First off, I’ve launched an update that fixes up and polishes a variety of things. I find myself revisiting Severed Steel a lot. It's an incredibly fast-paced and frenetic movement FPS that I've talked about a lot on PCGamesN, and the team at Greylock Studio keeps adding great updates. First, it was improved ragdoll physics, then dual-wielding weapons, and now you can add any music you want into the game while you play. I suddenly have the urge to play Toxic by Britney Spears while bouncing off walls and shooting guys in slow-mo. Oh, it's also 80% off on Steam to celebrate. Read the rest of the story... Hi everyone, We've got some long requested music related features live right now! Players can import their own music library. MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG Vorbis are supported! Players can customize the built in OST, enabling or disabling tracks as they want! Players can choose to play all original OST, only their custom tracks, or a mix of both! Campaign mode now supports the shuffle music button in the pause menu Burst pistol recoil has been reduced (yeah kind of random). All instructions and configuration options for the new music features are found in the audio settings menu. Have fun! -Mattwla

We have joined forces with the team behind indie FPS SPRAWL to bring you this XMas update! The Sprawl team has kindly gifted us the Megatech A8 shotgun! This is a powerful shotgun which also lets you SHOTGUN JUMP. The Megatech A8 comes pre-unlocked in firefight, and has been added to the Rogue Steel shotgun starter card. Hi everyone, I've been working on something in secret for a little while now, and it's ready! The highly requested feature of DUAL WIELDING is now available in Severed Steel. To use it equip the Gravity Cannon, which has now been unlocked for all players by default. You can also now choose to start rogue runs with the Gravity Cannon. The Gravity Cannon can be selected in New Game + if you want to play campaign with it. There's also random other bits of polish, see patch notes for info.
