Ten years? TEN YEARS!You've read it right: Schwarzerblitz is now a decade old! Development started in May 2016. Here's a relic of that time, featuring my old defunct laptop too in my Heildeberg room =PThe game has gone a long way since that point, reaching the form we all (?) love today! Shaz's combo trial became impossible to finish due to a mistake in a configuration file in the last update. This fixes it.

A hard lock was caused by performing Mira's j.K close to the ring's edge after a ring out. The root cause hasn't been removed, but now the game won't hang if this happens again. Also, fixed an unintended Shaz infinite combo that started with a 2T 9P loop. The combo, if you fancy it, can be accessed by selecting v1.7 and previous Shaz using version select, but it's not affecting the current game revision anymore.

One of Donner's combos in Donner's second trial ("Impact Cancel Combo #2") advanced the input by one step too much because of a configuration error. It was just a display glitch, the trial could be cleared anyway, but now the visuals will match the input shown.

A major bug that caused the input to lag on Steam Deck or Linux + Proton while playing with a joypad has finally been fixed. Thank you for your patience and massive thanks to everyone who helped fixing it! Long version The bug Several users reported input lag spikes after playing through the game's story or tutorial mode on Steam Deck. The issue only happened when playing with a joypad and only on Steam Deck or Linux + Proton (albeit more rarely), while Windows was completely unaffected. Song selection wasn't working when Player 2 had selection priority (e.g. vs AI selected with P2 controls). Furthermore, the icons were displayed with the wrong size. This has been fixed Fixed a small memory leak due to a menu not being destroyed after a Free Match was over.
