This update should fix a few issues found when using the Warthog Throttle. Also, some fixes related to using joysticks with Meta Quest Pro.
We inadvertently introduced a few issues with VIve controller and HOTAS Customization. This has now been fixed. If you encounter any additional issues please email us at support@bitplanetgames.com and include your Player.log file. This can be found in AppData/LocalLow/Bit Planet Games, LLC/Ultrawings 2. If you can't find your AppData directory it's probably hidden. A quick Google search will help you find it.
The last patch inadvertently broke our controller detection system. Sorry about that. This patch also fixes HOTAS Warthog issues
Hey all, This patch focuses entirely on HOTAS selection and customization system. - Increase device detection limit from 4 to 14. Now if you have a whole bunch of devices connected they'll list them out. Keep in mind you'll want to choose your PRIMARY input device for controlling the aircraft. If you have a stick, throttle, pedals, etc you'll want to choose the stick. - Customization now fully works including saving profiles and resetting back to defaults. Here's another patch that should fix issues with selecting the helmet when using gamepads / HOTAS. We also changed the starting aircraft to the Stallion instead of the Phoenix as we want players to get into combat earlier. Our combat systems are really quite good. Hello all, We're pushing up an update that addresses some issues that were introduced in the last update. Also, for those that are using a HOTAS that is not recognized by the game (meaning you can't select the helmet) we need you to first delete ALL of the config files located in \AppData\LocalLow\Bit Planet Games, LLC\Ultrawings 2\Data\Config\Controller\User Then relaunch the game and see if you can select the helmet. If you can't please, please, PLEASE send us your Player.log located in the root Ultrawings 2 folder. There are a BUNCH of HOTAS controllers out there and we don't have access to

Today's the BIG day where our long-awaited full HOTAS system goes live! What does this exactly mean? 1) If you have a HOTAS plugged in you'll see it listed on the control selection screen as soon as you get to the title screen. Just look at it for a few seconds to choose it. 2) This also applies to ANY other control scheme you use including motion controllers. 3) Full customization of your HOTAS stick is also in the game. Hello everyone! The update today adds some long requested new features, bug fixes, and more. Let's dive in, shall we? Build notes: -- Added the ability to skip landing in almost all missions in the game. The catch here is that the highest medal you can earn is a Silver.
