you can now press T to open a text chat. you can choose between talking to everybody, just allies (same faction), or just people close by. Y will enable/disable the chat.
when you press TAB and open the map, you will now see how many players are currently in each faction (given that there are other players). There are also nav markers on the map for each player in the same faction as you. When you load in, you're in the "Villager" faction. But then you can either join blue (House Denivir) or red (House Piricious). Next I was going to try to add some text chat, and then maybe some proxi mic chat.
Added an interact prompt for you heathens that don't just read the controls. Press ESC to see the options menu if you're having trouble figuring things out.
Players can now Host private sessions that are only joinable through Steam Invites. This will save the current map, the current ruling faction of each other map, and data for each player on the server. Player data consists of world location, character level, max health, gold, meat, arrows, potions, and what faction you're with. Only the host of a session can save the game.
If you want to make your server private just click "Invite Only" in the Host Menu.
Press Escape or Start (gamepad) to view the options menu. There you can find controls and instructions. Thanks for playin folks!
