Speaking AI Now In Game I have now added speech to the game to make it easier to know when you are about to run out of a powerup, what powerup you've just picked up, if you're on your last life and what position you are on the global leader board with your current play session. The option to disable the speech if you find it irritates can be found in both the options menu on the main title screen and pause screen. Added a new Save / Load Feature The game now saves progress at the end of every level. If you pause and exit the game you will now get the option to Continue from the start of the next level you have reached on the main menu screen. If you are destroyed by the enemy your save will be wiped and the option to Continue will be removed. This update has been made because the High Scores are now into the 3 millions which was not perceived possible when the game was designed. Getting a top score is taking well over 1 hour and this feature will hopefully help in making high score attempts more conveni
Logo screen will benchmark frames per second for new users and auto disable features to ensure the game runs optimally on older hardware
Small update to give credit to Kev who left a good review on the steam page with some hints to make the game better. These have now been implemented and it seems only fair to give credit to Kev. Thanks again Kev ;-) Also added music carry over to the recently added Game Over screen which will then fade out as your stats display. Will look to implement more subtle changes soon but now i'm taking a break before updating the Android version so it reflects these changes. Kev will also be credited on the mobile version soon.
