I liked the shared-world puzzle game Islands of Insight quite a bit when it came out in 2023, and so did some of my PC Gamer compatriots. Alas, it wasn't able to find an audience, and today the Islands of Insight community team announced that, like so many other online games, the servers will be shut down at the end of August. Update Oct. 30: Islands of Insight is now offline-only. Seekers, our final Islands of Insight update will arrive on October 30, 2024, which will permanently modify the game to be offline-only. This will allow Islands of Insight to live on for all Seekers to find and enjoy, while we focus our efforts onto our next projects. For what to expect, here is what you need to know: The online servers will officially shutdown on October 30, 2024 Any online progression that is not transferred before October 30 will be lost There are no plans for more content to support the offline version All the online

General game fixes Fixed an issue affecting some players where selecting Play Game would result in a crash and UE4 crash report. Improved server synchronization.
