I've seen that many people don't lower the graphics settings even if they get low FPS, so now the game defaults to medium quality and 80% resolution scaling. Increase if you have the right hardware, or decrease if you still get low FPS. Aim for at least 30 FPS. Thanks, Edd
-I've changed the opening sequence a bit to make it clearer from the first minute what kind of game it is and to better connect it with the ending and the other episodes. -I've made it even clearer when the path choice occurs and more or less what will be different. -other little things. -The invisible phone has been fixed, in theory. If it happens again, simply go back to the main menu and continue and it'll start right from there. -Made it a little clearer that each path chosen (forks in the path) slightly changes the gameplay experience. -Other minor fixes. - I added a fun thing for those who get Ending 2 by finding all the secret areas. - I added the skeleton of a player who reported in the feedback widget in a funny way that he had fallen into infinity outside the map while desperately searching for the key. - Many minor improvements and fixes. made the time escape section easier to get through and lowered the difficulty of the challenges overall..
fixed a setting that wouldn't play animations when on low quality and removed the need to activate the devices to make the terrible rock monster appear. keep using the hub or in-game functionality to report if you run into any issues or anything and I'll take a look, thanks Edd
I added a system that removes vegetation or adjusts the resolution scale in case of low fps. flowers and vegetation in some cases also indicate the path and are part of the gaming experience, this feature is designed only for older hardware where even with low quality settings you do not get fps higher than 30, if you notice that the vegetation disappears (a message is also written) check first in the settings if you are not using too high settings. thanks to Nichoz for reporting, do not be afraid to use the hub to report anything! fixed an issue that blocked the path in some cases..
made the escape section easier and clearer that the secret areas are behind the bloody walls..
made it clearer that you need to turn on the flashlight or what the path is in some places..
I added a couple of NPCs and puzzles, updated to directx 12 to support ray tracing, now it will automatically be active if the gpu supports it, and other little things.

a user reported a possible bug in the escape section, actually I didn't do anything different than before, I just reconstructed the AI path.. maybe this will work out for him. But i tried all ways to reproduce the problem and on my side it works fine, so i think it was not a real bug. i can only guarantee it works fine on cards like gtx 1060 6gb higher or similar, it should also work with older cards with the right settings, but i have no way to test it. however if anyone encounters something like this please report it to me and I'll have a look, https://steamcommunity.com/app/2195200/discussi
