There were a few extra features we intended to include in the 1.6 Creators' Update, but they didn't quite make it. This patch adds the final few and fixes issues reported since then.New FeaturesWe've added a new Mission Browser to the editor. This replaces the previous "file picker" style popups with something friendlier. The new UI is fully controller-compatible and offers more options directly from the mission list.The browser will search common locations, but if you had previous maps in a custom folder, you will need to copy them to your game directory if they are no longer found.New missio

A new widget has been added to the bottom left corner to show terrain and unit info for the object currently under the cursor.The green highlighted area for movement is now a higher contrast green when playing on Ice environment missions to aid readability.Maps that defined a custom max-health for a unit can longer set this value to 0. Fixed crash when pressing shoulder buttons for next/prev unit when there was a unit at (0, 0). Fixed the camera sometimes locking on Steam Deck when resuming from sleep. Fixed dialogue trigger if Flint is defeated during "Desert Storm" mission. Fixed shaders not always returning to the pool after using Mission Editor. This resulted in a gradual slowdown if continuing to play, which is now resolved. Audio levels have been rebalanced to further raise SFX levels relative to music. Fixed a crash in the multiplayer mission browser when a player had no custom missions of their own. Fixed incorrect loss trigger on Kraken's Wake mission. Fixed a crash that could occur during multiplayer fog-of-war games when a player had selected a unit that was about to move into the fog but had not yet animated. Fixed a crash within the custom mission browser where players had manually copied missions outside of the game. The battlefield expands again with Warside v1.4, bringing with it some major multiplayer updates and quality-of-life enhancements.As with all our updates, we welcome your feedback and comments on our forums.MultiplayerMultiplayer games now support up to 4 players. Changes: Added Tab key bind to jump to next unused unit (controller users can already use the shoulder buttons). The game version is now displayed on the main menu to make it easier for our team to help with support issues. Updated the contrast in subtitles to make them easier to read on Steam Deck. Enraged units with no target will start the turn "used" so they can't be used by the owning player until the effect expires.
