All you many Scrooge McDuck fans will be pleased to hear DuckTales: Remastered has returned to Steam. Remember when it just kind of, went away, last year? It was pretty weird, Capcom told everyone it was getting delisted from all the digital stores, then they put it on sale for 75% off as a “farewell price drop”. They didn’t even give us a reason. Heads up, everyone; DuckTales: Remastered is leaving digital storefronts in a duck-blur, and will no longer be available for purchase beginning August 9th, 2019. If you’ve already purchased it in the past or if you buy it before it's gone, you’ll still be able to re-download and play the game, so pogo jump your way into Scrooge’s Money Bin while you can! Capcom has offered a warning to all potential purchasers of DuckTales: Remastered; the game is being delisted on digital storefronts, starting tomorrow, 8th August. Of course, interested parties haven't exactly been short of time to take the plunge previously. Developer WayForward's gorgeous reworking of Capcom's beloved 1989 NES platformer initially launched for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U all the way back in 2013. Everybody was excited about DuckTales: Remastered, the 2013 update of the hit NES platformer from 1998, until it actually arrived and we all learned an important lesson about nostalgia. As if the return of one of 8-bit gaming’s most treasured titles wasn’t exciting enough news, the inclusion of Steam Trading Cards has given PC gamers yet another reason to yell “WOO-HOO!” from their cubicles today.
