This update adds support for four more languages: - Italian (by Pietro Bonardi) - Polish (by Bartłomiej Czajkowski) - Ukrainian (by lvcfr) - Czech (by Hanuš Valenta) It's always great to be able to make the game available in more languages. That Which Gave Chase is now playable in Brazilian Portuguese. That's pretty cool. Also included in this update is a small fix for the German, French, Spanish and Turkish versions (a short dialogue sentence was missing from these languages).

Just a quick hotfix addressing missing dialogue bugs in the latest batch of localized languages. The dialogue for the affected items would revert to Turkish. As far as I can tell this affected certain context-dependent items, so not everyone would have encountered them on a playthrough. Apologies to anyone who did!

It's October, winter is at the gate, time for another update for That Which Gave Chase. Now available in Turkish! Big thanks to mavi for her wonderful work on this translation. Small hotfix while a larger patch is in testing. This fix addresses an issue introduced by the last update: the game no longer fails to automatically reload a scene if dialogue is triggered while a scene reload is in progress (e.g. after the player has died).

That Which Gave Chase is one year old. Time flies? Or slithers along at a glacial pace? Somehow both at once. Regardless, I'm glad to be able to celebrate the 1-year anniversary by rolling out localization support, starting with a wonderful Japanese translation courtesy of translator Youge. When starting the game for the first time after applying this update, it should default to Japanese if Steam is set to run in Japanese. - Adds a scene selection feature, which can be accessed from the main menu. Scenes will unlock as you play through the game, allowing you to go back and replay parts as you please. If you have any existing checkpoint data upon launching the game after this update, the game will use this to unlock relevant scenes. - Tweaks difficulty in the game's final section.

Adds Vsync support. Three options, off, on (refresh rate) and on (half refresh rate) are now accessible through the settings menu. Aims to fix a difficult to reproduce bug where the end section of the map would fail to spawn (ice scene). Improved lighting in darker scenes. Fixes a bug with the navmesh in first cabin scene, causing the scientist to clip with the environment in certain areas.
