A fairly minor one today, fixing a bug that could cause problems when unusual characters were used in save file names. Shouldn't do anything that almost anyone would notice, just letting you know why you see an update!
Cleaning up a few bugs! Elodie no longer disappears when you return after clicking the sidebar "menu" button from the classes or stats screen. The sidebar "menu" button from the stats screen no longer leaves the stats background showing. An unused file was removed. This release focuses on translation and text-to-speech bugfixes.Changes since 1.5.13:- A little code cleanup- Tutorial text works a bit better in self-voicing mode.- Self-voicing during studying now truncates trailing zeros when reading decimal numbers.- Bubbles ("+1 Pressured", "Test: Horses → Failed") will now be read off in the correct order and only get read once.- Self-voicing will no longer get confused by lines starting with a - ("-1 Afraid") on Linux.- A bug, introduced in the engine upgrade, where translations of lines containing double spaces wouldn't usually work right has been fixe
Multiple adjustments to automatic self-voicing (triggered by pressing 'V' during the game). It's moving, it's shaking! We are pushing forward with updating the version of the game engine that Long Live The Queen runs on in order to improve compatibility with modern machines. Currently live on the beta branch is an update which moves the RenPy version forward quite a bit to help the game run on more recent computers as well as adding some potential cloud save support. We've put out a small update that almost no one should notice. Basically, one achievement (Unexpected Pairing - the commoner romance) was not syncing correctly between the steam account and the local copy, so if you'd unlocked it on Steam and then played the game on another computer, your in-game copy wouldn't show that achievement until you unlocked it on THAT machine. This has now been corrected to work like the other achievements do. Nothing else should be affected, but if you encounter any strange behavior please do let us know.
