While we all impatiently wait for Baldur's Gate 4, it seems that Hasbro is looking to its past before steamrolling into the future. According to new reports, Wizards of the Coast is working on a remake of Baldur's Gate 2, and there's also a chance that a remaster of the original is in the works, too, with the co-lead designer of the second installment returning for the project. Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition continue to get, well, enhanced today thanks to the beta branch of their supporting Infinity Engine 2.7. To celebrate Baldur’s Gate's 25th anniversary a while ago in 2023, we organized a Community Contest with O.G. artist Mike Sass to give our players the chance of a lifetime: to have their portraits transformed into the art style of Baldur’s Gate and added to the game.
