Bug fix patch: - Fixed a bug where you could be stuck on a plank after loading a save game. - Fixed a few remnants that would just disappear. - Fixed telescope mode leaving you in a spinning boat if you were turning whilst entering telescope mode. - Fixed black ledges in low detail mode. - Fixed a bunch of places you could fall off buildings. - Removed the refraction from the raindrops shader. Should fix inverted rain drops on some GPUs. - Unlock remnant image after explore mode if not found during campaign. - Fixed Taku's bandage being missing during fire lighting cutscene.

There's no combat in Submerged, the post-apocalyptic exploration and adventure game from indie studio Uppercut Games. While it has eerie moments, and even a couple frightening ones, there are no enemies. While you spend a great deal of time scaling buildings, hanging by your fingertips from ledges, vines, and pipes, you can't fall. Exploring a drowned world on a dinky little boat sounds grand. Not Waterworld drowned, just… end-of-human-civilization-as-we-know-it-don’t-worry-it’s-kinda-peaceful-may-as-well-accept-it drowned. I’ve had my eye on Submerged for a while, keen to get exploring, and am glad to learn the wait is almost over. For months I’ve been making do the best I can, which was sitting in the bath surrounded by LEGO houses. It’s not the same. One of the most interesting games I saw at GDC earlier this year was Submerged, a combat-free exploration game by Australian studio Uppercut Games. The game has been in development for a while now, but it's finally releasing next month on Steam August 4, to be precise.
