Today it’s the 1st of June, and on this day we remember the first land engagement of the American Civil War. On this day, 155 years ago, about 210 virginian soldiers were occupying Fairfax Court House, about 14 miles west of Washington D.C.; they were under the command of Lt. Col. Richard S. Ewell. They were engaged by forces from the 2nd U.S. Cavalry Regiment under the command of Lieutenant Charles Henry Tompkins. Civil War II has been updated to Version 1.0.6! This new version improves the general gameplay in many ways, from fixing a bug related to the hosting time to a change in how forbidden regions are displayed! Be sure to check the changelog below: LIST OF CHANGES - A fix in the hosting time speed up that had a bug. This bug hampered the AI significantly. - A failed regional decision is always removed from play. - You always get a 5% MC if you have a non-passive force in a region. - When winning a battle, you usually get a large % of the enemy MC. - Changed back how forbidden regions are displayed

A significant number of changes and improvements are brought to you upgrading the game to make it even more historically accurate: neutral Indians are passive (should stop them from besieging or interfering with USA/CSA units) and leaders of different nations, for the same side, don't compete in the same chain of command anymore! Download this update and improve turn resolution speed by at least 50%! Be sure to check the entire changelog here You can download the patch from here
