Hello everyone! I can't believe Recesses is 2 years old already. It feels like just yesterday that it came out, and I was expecting 2 negative reviews and tumbleweeds. But thanks to all of you who gave it a chance, and left great comments and reviews, it's reached more people than I ever thought possible. So thank you! Hello everyone! I was planning on releasing an update for the 2 year anniversary five months from now in August, but then I finished it early and decided to release it now... for the 1.5 year anniversary instead. That's just as important a milestone, right?! This update comes with four new cards in the main game, some buffs to old cards, and a few new post-game things. Hello everyone! It's been one year since Recesses released, and I'm still amazed by the response you all have given it. Getting to Very Positive on Steam was something I'd never thought possible (I figured I'd get 2 negative ratings and tumbleweeds), so thank you to everyone who has helped it get there! Hello everyone! It's been a while, but thank you for still taking the time to check out Recesses. The new version 1.07 of the game has made a few small changes: - In battle and in the collection screen, when you can click on a card, the mouse cursor will turn to a finger when hovering over that card, and the card will get a yellow outline. Hello, and thank you for playing my little game Recesses! The new version 1.06 update of the game has a few additions and bug fixes: ADDITIONS - Eight new Steam achievements have been added to the game. - Seven of them are for collecting certain amounts of total cards (100, 256, 500, etc) to give some value to opening dozens and dozens of duplicates. You can also now see your total number of cards opened in the collection screen, at the bottom of the black text box in the upper left. Hello, and thank you for taking a chance on Recesses! The new version 1.05 update of the game has a few small requested updates: * You can now toggle skip/show Soup or Nova coinflips in Game Options. If you skip coinflips, then when 2 (or more) abilities happen at the same time, one will just be chosen at random. * You can now adjust the game volume AND toggle skip/show coinflips in the ESC menu during a run. To confirm you're playing on the latest Version 1.05, go to Game Options and check the upper left corner. If it's a lower version, just restart Steam and it should update automatically. A

Hello, and thank you for checking out Recesses! Apologies for this being the third update in a little over a week since release, but I appreciate everyone letting me know bugs they run into while playing. I've tried to patch them up as quickly as I can. The new version 1.04 brings with it these changes: * Card images have been added during dialogue sections when characters talk about certain cards, so that you can see them then and there. * You can now press "T" again to toggle OFF auto-skip after it's been enabled. * Booster packs now hide in the collection when you're filtering the cards (ex

Hello, and thank you for taking a chance on my game Recesses! Since release day a week ago, a lot of players have reported game crashes when using the "T" ("thkip") auto-skip feature during dialogue sections of the game. In order to fix that, I've updated the visual novel plugin I'm using (Dialogic) to the latest version, which should hopefully take care of that. Updating Dialogic brought with it a bunch more bugs that I had to fix. I've patched them up as I found them while playing, but I'm just one dev, so if you have any new issues or if the auto-skip crash persists for you, please let me k

Hello! Thank you all for playing Recesses. It's been a lot of fun hearing about your experiences with it :) I've heard from some players that the game crashed during dialogue sections while they were holding down Space/Enter to progress the text. I'm not exactly sure what was causing that crash, but until it's fixed, I've updated the game to not progress the text as fast in dialogue sections when holding down Space/Enter. In my testing, this has prevented crashes, but please let me know if they continue for you. You can make sure you're playing Version 1.02 by going into Game Options and check
