Hi there, everyone. I'm writing this to inform you that Unakis, as an application, will be retiring from Steam. Users who have bought, or activated the game, will still be able to play the game, but there will no longer be any updates on Steam. I'm closing down my account due to some personal reasons, as well as just the lack of sales to sustain the distribution of the game, and continue on with other projects. Hi there, everyone. I'm making this announcement to inform you that Unakis will be switched to a free-to-download game, on November 20th. Due to the lack of sales, the project will, basically, be retiring, and future projects will be given more attention. Unakis may receive updates in the future. Hey there, everyone. It seems that I was successful in completing the update this month. This one is very massive with new content, so I'll give a brief summary here: Added 3 new Acts, which are a branching path that the player can choose to go through, instead of the one from the base game. This effectively makes Unakis a muiltiple-ending type game now; Added 9 sub-acts, which are shorter stories, which may, or may not, contain combat encounters. Hey there, everyone, I would like to announce that I'm working on a pretty large update, which would greatly expand on all of the characters' pasts, and showcase the road to getting where the events of the game take place. This won't include all of the history of the past events of the game, as there's a bit too much to include in a single update, but it will give much greater context to the motivations and goals of every character. Or 'The Diary', whatever works best. This update adds a sort of checklist that the player is supposed to clear in order to progress, very similar to the standard RPG quest-log. Every activity finished is tracked, and marked, so the player knows exactly how much is left to do to progress, and where to go. Some images can be found on the artwork gallery on the Steam page of Unakis. This should give the player some direction, and a sense of purpose to what they're actually doing, as well as culling out the optional tasks that the player may not be interested in doing. This update brings 80+ new visuals into the game, one for each poem encountered. Basically, every poem will now have a unique image to go along with the reading, which can be stylized, or more concrete. As poems can be confusing on their own, these images will exactly tell the player what the poem will be about, and how it relates to the story of the game. This update also fixed some bugs, namely the errors in some minigames when interacting with objects that weren't properly set up before.

Hey there, everyone, Unakis now contains a complete gameplay guide, that can be accessed from the menu, by clicking on the 'Guide' button (it's right under the 'Library' and 'Settings'). It contains all the information about tackling the game from the gameplay perspective, with images to help guide the player. It's basically analogous to the guide that was just recently posted on the Steam Guides for Unakis.
