Just a heads up: this update is mostly about bug fixes and performance improvements, with little new content. However, Cat Goes Fishing DOES run at 60 FPS now, so we're calling this a Major Update. I tried to make the changelog as complete as possible, but I'm sure I missed something. We've made these improvements in preparation for future updates, so stay tuned Performance Enhancements: Target framerate increased to 60 FPS (from 30 FPS). The game is now compiled! Now press "Enter" to slow velocity while swimming (instead of "Space"); this no longer drains O2. Flicking with an uncooled Magmer on the line now snaps the line. Added 3 new fish (one contest winner) and a new hat. Phase 100% no longer gets stuck on rocks.

While the silo is still firmly sealed, there is a new patch out now! You will first need to discover how to unlock the Tech Boat before you can set out to catalog the dozens of new fish that our talented artist, Formex326, has brought to life. I'll keep the new stuff vague, but: Balance Changes: Changed Magnalav approach conditions (easier to attract). Piercer gets tired of chasing the lure after some time. Made swimming a little more fun, made some visual changes, and patched a few bugs. Even added a few fish, but no major content changes. Save files should be more stable, and they are saved redundantly now, but your mileage may vary. Maybe more to come soon?

Mythic hats are now purchasable after level 45. Slightly increased spawn rate for some huge fish. Fixed a bug causing Bombats not to bite rocks. Fixed a bug preventing the Mamo from being caught. Other minor bug fixes.

I'm happy to announce a soft fix for the 100 quest achievement bug. It is now possible to reset the catalog: just open it and click "reset". Doing so should reset your quest progress. If you have been experiencing the quest bug and this doesn't allow you to take new quests, please report as a bug here or in the forums. Important Note: Many fish behaviors/interactions change over time as minor updates are pushed to the game, so there's a good chance you'll discover something new along the way. If you'd rather not reset your catalog, just wait for some new fish~ Expect more soon!

- Flick now works even when the line isn't snagged; i.e., it's actually a useful upgrade! Flicking repeatedly is less effective. - Space bar now works like left click. - And there's a few new small fish. Nothing fancy, but expect more soon~ Question for Discerning Fishercats: Do you all prefer these small daily updates or would you prefer a sizeable content package a few times a year? In addition to performance improvements, there were a few bug fixes and balance changes: - improved save file stability - decreased the value of the Cave Shark and Swordfish - increase the frequency of storms (during Halloween). - decreased the Maw's dive depth - fixed the quest skip bug (for NEW save files) - fixed some catalog display bugs
