The Elden Ring Seamless Co-op mod is one of the best unofficial addons for FromSoftware's fantasy RPG. Not only does it let you traverse the Lands Between with pals, but it also frees you from the usual constraints of FromSoft multiplayer. FromSoftware's take on multiplayer is easily my favorite part of the studio's games. The summoning system means you're completely alone and surrounded by other players simultaneously, with their bloodstains and cheeky messages acting like passing ships in the night. You can then call on a random player to help you finally beat that brick wall of a boss, only for them to slowly fade away when the task is done as they emote to you one last time. We're still a few months out from the release of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, but in the meantime, there's now a demo for an impressive looking Dark Souls 3 mod.
