As a huge fan of the original SPRAWL game, I was eagerly anticipating the release of its prequel, SRAWL Zero, and having put in roughly 8 hours into the game, I can say that fans of the original and those who yearn for that Y2K aesthetic will have plenty to enjoy with its release. ENEMY AI DEV DIARY Q’s When a firefight breaks out, what kind of collaborative strategies and tactics can players expect the AI squads to use against them? The first thing enemies will attempt to do will find cover. If the player plays passively and hangs back, the AI will attempt to flank by finding firing positions in different locations! SPRAWL zero was a happy surprise during the Summer Game Fest week. Published by Kwalee, the game is developed by a small team, MAETH, with a remote team all around the world, and sitting down to play, I could really see the passion behind what they are building. You play as FIVE, a cyber soldier controlled by the Junta. I was told you’re basically a bad guy in a sea of other bad guys.
