Have You Played? is an endless stream of game retrospectives. One a day, every day, perhaps for all time. I’ve already put myself on record as being obsessed with the Ace Attorney series. Comparison can come off as a backhanded compliment, but Aviary Attorney is a game so clearly inspired by Capcom’s courtroom series that comparisons aren’t really avoidable. Fixed in this update: - Chapter 4C added. - Several bugs have been squashed. - A "delete save data" button has been added to the main options screen. If all of your save data has been corrupted, or if you are unable to get past the first screen of chapter 1, then please try using this button. Next update: - Further bug fixes. - Linux version. Ooh! Aviary Attorney‘s out now – I played the demo back at Rezzed in the spring and I’ve been looking forward to seeing how the game turned out ever since. The basic info is: it’s a legal investigation/courtroom game in the manner of Phoenix Wright, with beautiful character illustrations by 19th century French caricaturist J.J Grandville. The eagle-eyed among you will note that this is four days later than I announced a couple of weeks ago—according to a recent Kickstarter update, a major bug in the save system held the release date in contempt.
