G'day Forts fans!With the recently released Firebird DLC, we dedicated our 7th official map making competition to the creation of new 2v2 Firebird environment maps, to help populate the map pool. Our judges and community had to select 3 finalists for the livestream out of the 20 entries received. The winning maps were announced, with some pro players showcasing them with a few matches each. G'day Forts fans!The first ever Firebird DLC Tournament has just ended, with team Tarlahon emerging as victors!Not only have they mastered the now ubiquitous Lightning Beam + 20mm Cannon combo, but they also managed to quickly adapt and find effective counter strategies.Team Tarlahon will split the 1st place prize of $100. Tar struck a chord. Following closely, team Godos Greeb managed to hold their ground even during the extremely heated finals match, with the last match even exceeding 30 minutes of runtime. G'day Forts fans!Now that the Firebird DLC is properly out, we need some help to get many more maps on the field with the new fancy themes!For the seventh edition of the map making competitions, we will be looking for 2v2 maps that are using a Firebird exclusive theme. As a disclaimer, we are also looking for maps that may be used for future tournaments, or perhaps even the Forts Pro League! G'day Forts fans!If you're out of the loop, we have very recently launched the latest Forts - Firebird DLC!Now that the Season 7 of the FPL has come to an end, it is time for a flurry of events to take place before Season 8 (and who knows, it might also include Firebird).In particular, we first want to announce Tournament 33, which will feature the Firebird DLC.Tournament 33 will be a 2v2 Firebird tournament, and will be held on August 8th at 6PM UTC for the first round, and August 15th 6PM UTC for the other two rounds. G'day Forts fans!The FPL has now ended, time to celebrate this season's victors!With an astonishing set of matches, even when the commander choices were against them, JameTime Zzz managed to full sweep the finals, while also suffering very few losses during both the swiss bracket stage and the playoffs themselves.
