Do you remember Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem? It’s a Diablo-like ARPG from a small indie team that came out in the D3-to-D4 drought. It spent years in Steam early access development, following a very successful Kickstarter campaign. Greetings, Ascended, We will begin shutting down Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem's servers today after the delay communicated earlier this month. Your online characters will be available in the cloud and can be converted for offline play with the patch that is also rolling out today on all platforms using a new button, “Import Online Character”, which can be found in the main menu and on the landing screen. All achievements are still available for completion, including “Dawn’s Healing”, which will now require you to revive an NPC companion instead of a player. Additionally, any achievements completed

Dear Wolcen Community, We’ve read your comments, and, seeing that quite a few players are still doing their best to get the Dawn’s Healing achievement, we have decided to postpone shutting down the servers until September 17, 2024. During this time, we will work on finding a good equivalent for it that can be unlocked while playing offline. We would also like to confirm that there will be an "Import Online Character" button in the game’s menu that downloads and converts your online character to an offline one, even when the server are already shut down. Back in February 2020, when Diablo 4 was still a glimmer in Lilith's eye, Path of Exile 2 was just beginning to surface as an idea, and Last Epoch was but a newborn babe looking to find its feet in the initial throes of early access, Wolcen looked to be the big new kid on the block. An ARPG with no class restrictions and a beautiful world to explore, it showed a lot of early promise. But bugs, technical troubles, and balance woes left the newcomer in a rough spot that it never recovered from, and now it appears the curtain call has finally come. Read the rest of the story... It feels as if every action-RPG can be described in terms of its relationship to genre daddy Diablo. Wolcen:Lords Of Mayhem, for example, launched a few months after Diablo 4 was announced and helped to satiate some early click cravings. Briefly. Greetings, Ascended We have enabled Steam Cloud saves for Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem! Your progress and characters in Offline mode will now sync across all supported devices you may have, as well as provide a backup for your saves in case of data loss or corruption. With Steam Cloud saves, you can enjoy a smoother experience in offline mode without worrying about losing your hard-earned loot. Greetings, Ascended! Today we are rolling out patch 1.1.7.16 on PC, patch 1.1.7.24 on XBOX, and patch 1.018 on PlayStation. Fixed an issue where the some Gate of Fates nodes and Affixes would not affect summons. This includes the nodes Safe From Afar, Undertaker, and Academic Fieldwork; as well as the Affix +Projectile Speed and The Trial's +100% Chance to inflict Mark of Impurity. Fixed an issue where the some variants of the Unique gloves Imbued Argrand's Hearth would have an incorrect required level and incorrect drop ranges. Various graphical optimisations. Greetings, Ascended! Today we are rolling out patch 1.1.7.15 on PC, patch 1.1.7.23 on XBOX, and patch 1.017 on PlayStation. Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue on Gamepad where releasing the Left Stick would interrupt Bladestorm. Fixed an issue where the Active Skill Modifier Unstoppable Charge for Warpath would not grant Crowd Control immunity or Damage Reduction from Projectiles. Fixed an issue on Gamepad where the Lieutenant Harvest screen would behave incorrectly. Tidied up a background issue in a Chapter I cinematic involving a certain sneaky demon.
