The playtest starts this week It is time: the Dadi Kingdom playtest starts this week. You will play the current version, with everything that has been added over the past weeks, in 13 languages. If you signed up, there is nothing else to do. Steam will message you as soon as your access is open. After that the game sits in your library. Put the game on your wishlist If you like what you see: add Dadi Kingdom to your wishlist. You will be notified the moment Early Access starts on December 7, 2026. And it helps me more than you think: Steam shows a game to more people the more wishlists it has.

Dadi Kingdom – May Update: UI, Night Events and Gameplay Flow

In May, a lot of work went into the systems that should make the overall gameplay flow of Dadi Kingdom feel much smoother later on. The main focus was the new HUD, night events, sequences, and several technical gameplay systems.A big part of the work went into the new UI. The HUD was expanded and visually adjusted more closely to the style of Dadi Kingdom. Especially the lower displays, slots and frames were reworked so they fit better into the medieval kingdom setting. Decision icons for the throne room were also prepared, including custom icons for prison, release, fines and other judgments.

The main focus was on UI elements, the day/night flow, and refining important gameplay systems so everything works together more reliably. Several internal structures were adjusted to make future content easier to implement.There was also ongoing work on fixing technical issues and cleaning up existing systems to ensure the game continues to grow on a solid foundation. Development is moving forward step by step towards the next major milestones. Trailer and demo are still planned for late April / early May.
