Migration to the full WGPU client I broke the dragging in bank slots. Now functional again. Equipping items that were class AND spec locked were early failing at class blocking specs that match from equipping some items created for the Paladin, but also Warrior.
## Content- Collection log and kill counts. Track rare drops across bosses and dungeons within the collection tab of your character sheet. Kill count is also tracked, global (for now) broadcast when a player unlocks a log slot.- PvP areas, and dueling. Challenge your friends to a duel, or fight in an unrestricted PvP area. PvP areas are for guild content, capturing Fortresses. Killing others while in a guild in a PvP zone earns you Honor. ## Content - Priest new spec : Paladin, a hybrid tank. A new system included, called Devotion. Upon reaching level 10 and choosing Paladin, you are given one of your new abilities "Crusader Strike".This ability on hit gives you one stack of devotion. Devotion (for now) is to the right side of your health bar as a Paladin, drawn as 5 squares. At max devotion, your next heal (HoT not applicable), holy damage, or shield is buffed by 35%. ## Content - New skill: Culling. You can now go to a culling master and be instructed to kill a certain enemy. After completing your culling task you earn culling points which can be spent in the shop for ANY culling master (currently one - Ashvale) to purchase Culling specific upgrades (TBD)- New enemy mechanic: Superior variants of enemies can now spawn, only when on Culling tasks. Superior variants offer their normal drop table, along with some higher drop rates on rarer items, and some new Culling related items that are considered super rare!- New questline: Offered yet again by our friend
0.8 Combat Update## SystemsIncoming damage is now unified. Abilities, DoTs, and boss normal abilities all use the same mitigation path. Boss hits can dodge and break mounts like normal attacks.Taking damage correctly puts you "In Combat".- In combat: health regenerates slowly based off of Constitution- Out of combat: health regenerates as a percent of max HPArmor only reduces "Physical" typed damage. ## Systems GUILDS Create a guild via the Guild Registrar, buy a charter and use it to create a guild. Access to the guilds panel (G default), when not in a guild will show a list of guilds currently in the game, when in a guild it will have a members panel where you can view online members and manage your guild if you are the owner, and a permissions panel where you can set permissions for certain ranks in your guild.Guild Housing is available in game with the starter plots being a total of FIVE. This means only five guilds initially will be able to have access to a guild plot. There is a plot
Adjusted collision that allowed players to escape into the water at certain places in the map. Adjusted pathfinding to be smooth when clicking to walk to a skill node.
No new version this update, these features were a part of the last update, but they needed fine tuning before release! ## Systems Added a player pathfinding system. It may still have quirks and need fine tuning, but you should be able to click an area and find your way to it. ## QoL Can now craft multiples at a crafting bench with +/- and max buttons on applicable crafting stations and crafting UIs. Quick hotfix to address an incorrect name for the Mining skill in the client not allowing the player to mine Orac ore.
## Content Added two new quests, Melistra now has a quest to give, enabling access to Mel's Wings again.Riley now has a quest as well, rewarding a new mount for those that may not have the gold saved to buy a mount yet and have reached level 10. Added a level 8 mage ability FIREBOLT. 60% INT scaling, 35% chance to burn an enemy, stacks up to 5 times. Burn scales 60% as well. Added a level 28 berserker ability SHATTERING BLOW. 100% STR scaling, applies a NEW debuff to enemies which cause them to take 20% more damage from ALL sources for 8 seconds. ## Adjustments Removed rage requirement for tau
Boring update, but a needed one none the less. For the time being we are using some Steam implementations to avoid some very annoying blockers until I finish up my custom protocol. No longer using any HTTP requests to connect, and all requests hit a relay before it hits the server. Should fix the hacky fix that some players needed to employ by using a VPN in order to connect to the game up until this point. Later in the week I will be releasing some new quests, and hopefully will have something exciting to share for next weeks update!
Hotfix hopefully addresses some connection issues by routing through UDP instead of our WS to connect!
We are now running a 15% XP boost event in game. This XP boost applies to quests and the killing of enemy mobs. It will last until 7/6, and may be extended into 7/7 depending on the timing of the next weekly update! Get out there and get those gains!
