It took a bit longer than expected but we were really trying hard to solve the problems reported by the players and react to the good input you gave us! So the patch contains: Fixed some achievements not working correctly Made some tweaks to the AI on several maps Added language setting for voiceovers Fixed that corpses are discovered in grass Added penetration level to the weapon display Fixed rare incidence that a map would restart after finishing it Fixed a hole in the Water Treatment Facility map where enemies could fall into We didn't manage to reproduce and fix some of the random issues

Jagged Alliance: Rage, direct sequel to Sir-Tech’s tactical classic Jagged Alliance 2, has launched. Originally due out in September, it just kinda disappeared into the fog one day before launch.  Just one day ahead of its scheduled September 27 release, Jagged Alliance: Rage, the latest resurrection of the turn-based tactical RPG series, has been delayed. It's now slated to be out on December 6.  As usual, a specific reason for the delay wasn't given: A rep said only that it "needs a little more time in the oven," whatever that means. Developers keep trying to bring back Jagged Alliance, without much success. There was the misguided MMO, Jagged Alliance Online, in 2012; the scaled back remake of Jagged Alliance 2, Jagged Alliance: Back in Action, also in 2012; and finally the Kickstarted Jagged Alliance: Flashback in 2013, which wasn’t very good either. Jagged Alliance: Rage – a modern sequel to a turn-based tactics classic – will launch on September 27th according to publisher THQ Nordic. This comes as some surprise, as it feels like it was just a couple weeks ago that the game was announced at all. Because it was. Y’know what? I don’t hate it. Which, after 19 years of hurt (the remarkable JA2 mod scene aside), is happy progress for once-beloved turn-based mercenary combat series Jagged Alliance. It's been awhile since we've had a new Jagged Alliance to play with, and the last one, the Kickstarter-funded Flashback from 2013, was not very good.
