A haul of 17 new games are making their way to PS Plus, following a cheaky tease during the recent State of Play. This includes a whopping 14 new additions to the Games Catalogue for PS Plus Extra subscribers, and three beloved classics to the PS Plus Premium Classics Collection. Each month, new games are added to the service for PlayStation Plus subscribers to download and play. Punky purple post-apocalyptic shooter Rage 2 is the next free title available for PC via the Epic Games Store. id Software and Just Cause developer Avalanche Studio's fun but underloved sequel will be available to claim from 18th to 25th February, the same dates as top-down indie racer Absolute Drift. Rage 2 has racing of a different kind, with Mad Max style road combat and shooting. The game's gunplay earned itself points in Eurogamer's Rage 2 review, though Vikki Blake wrote that its open-world setting ended up letting the rest of it down. Read more

In this expansion, you'll be exploring a twisted alternate version of the Wasteland, and will have to fight through hordes of skeletal armies. Rage 2‘s wasteland is riddled with ghosts, thanks to its first whack of DLC. Sadly, though, the rising ghosts in Rise Of The Ghosts are not spectral nasties, but a bandit clan from the first game. Someone has taken over and experimented on everyone until they’ve got superpowers though, so that’s good. More importantly, yesterday’s DLC added a new Nanotripe ability that lets you telekinetically hurl people about like in Control. I am keen to do this in a videogame that is not Control. (more…)

Hey Rangers! RAGE 2's first DLC has arrived! You can find everything you need to know right here, in the official FAQ for Rise of the Ghosts. If you have any additional questions, let us know! How to access the Rise Of The Ghosts DLC: Players must be signed into a Bethesda.net account with Rise Of The Ghosts entitlements. The DLC can be accessed as soon as the player has completed “The Ranger” mission and visits any of the trade towns in the main game. The player will receive a radio call when leaving any trade town, which marks the location of the ark that starts the first mission for the DLC
