Hello all, here's the Flotilla update for September 2023. Big huge thanks to Ethan Lee (flibitijibibo.com) for doing the heavy lifting and making this update happen. Camera movement is now smooth Since release, the camera movement has been pretty jittery. This update smooths out the camera movement. Under the hood: instead of manually forcing the mouse cursor to the center of the screen each frame, the game now instead grabs the mouse's relative movement. This results in clean, no-jitter movement. Camera speed boost change Pressing the Shift key speeds up camera movement. Before, it ramped up

Flotilla is now available on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms! https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/3955297/51ab1ebca38e4cc85cc31800602e5b81aee14eef.jpg Flotilla is now over nine years old, and was beginning to have some compatibility issues with newer hardware. We ported Flotilla over to a new tech base, which resolves these technical issues and also allows the game to be cross-platform. Enjoy!

Quadrilateral Cowboy and Thirty Flights Of Loving superstar Brendon Chung of Blendo Games has released Flotilla 2, a VR-only sequel to 2010’s tidy turn-based tactical spaceship battler. Yes, you’ll need Rift or Vive cybergoggles if you want to jaunt across space with a rag-tag group of spaceships. I know it launched eight years ago, but it’s strange that we don’t talk about Blendo Games’ Flotilla more. It’s a playful space romp full of turn-based tactical battles that evoke the real-time scraps of Homeworld. I frequently think about it, and wonder if Blendo will ever return to its distinctly orange universe and its aggressive space critters. Good news, then!
