Sonic Mania 2 isn’t in development and never was, according to the devs behind the celebrated 2D revival of the blue hedgehog. By most accounts, Sonic Mania is the best thing to come out of the venerable series in ages - an excellent tribute to the old games led by members of the fangame community. It's Thursday, and now that the Epic Games Store Mega Sale is over, we're back to getting peeks at the upcoming free PC games that will be available next week on the Epic Games Store. Sonic the Hedgehog is getting an official Lego set featuring Sega's iconic mascot and his Green Hill Zone. As a nostalgia trip, Sonic Mania is impeccably precise. So, naturally, you’ll want to really nail those throwback kicks by, uh, playing it through an unrelated publisher’s digital subscription service. Remember when the very first Sonic the Hedgehog film trailer emerged, and it was rather unexpectedly set to Gangsta's Paradise? We've now moved on to slightly more up-to-date rap, as the official movie song is a collaboration between Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Yachty & Sueco the Child. Sure. You can watch the music video for Speed Me Up below, which features lyrics such as "ladies love my speed" and "leave my knuckles, attack me for my finance". Pay just 78p ($1) and you'll get Sonic Adventure 2 and its Battle DLC, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic CD and Sonic Adventure DX. This is a very good deal. Humble unveiled a brand-new game bundle last night and it’s absolutely rammed with Sonic games.
