A build is one published version of the game's files on a branch. Steam assigns a new build ID every time the developer pushes an update, so this list is the update history of the app. The files inside a build (depot manifests) are only readable with an account that owns the game, which SteamRaw does not have yet, so build contents are not shown.

Valve has awarded a security researcher $7500 for reporting a bug that permitted players to falsify credits to their Steam wallet. As spotted by The Daily Swig, researcher "drbrix" reported the exploit via HackerOne, stating they had "found vulnerability which allows attacker to generate steam wallet balance". The bug - which has since been resolved - would permit players with "amount100" in their Steam account email address to intercept payments made via Smart2Pay and artificially inflate them (thanks, NME). After detailing how the exploit could be generated, Valve's JonP promptly thanked drb
Valve has clarified what the company means by describing the Steam Deck as "targeting 30 FPS". Though some prospective Steam Deckers were concerned at the use of the word "targeting", Valve's Pierre-Loup Griffais took to Twitter to emphasise that the hardware wasn't targeting 30 FPS as much as it was suggesting 30 FPS is the minimum Steam Deck users can expect. All the games that have been tested on Steam Deck thus far have reportedly "consistently met and exceeded" 30 FPS, plus there'll also be an optional FPS limiter to enable players to choose between framerates and prolonging the mobile de

Sorry for the long, long, long time between updates. Pretty sure I have been in a time machine traveling the Universe and just got back... Anyway, this new build picks up all the changes that Pixvana have made over the past 5 months in their SPIN SDK including better support for all SteamVR compatible graphics cards. For content creators, the Diamond plane and Varisqueeze formats are now supported so you can render in those formats in SPIN Studio (though I still need to surface this in the in-app UI and in the Steam store). Also, Ambisonic audio support is being tested and should make its debu

Fixes in this build (#1945381): Steam 360 Videos can now be viewed without a VR HMD. This build is a first attempt at it, but it still needs more work. If SteamVR is not installed, the 360 video window will start up and you can use the mouse to control the view. Left-click and drag to move the camera around. Right-click to hide the help and analytics information. Oculus Touch is now properly supported. Inside the HMD, the transport UI will appear above an active touch controller. Use the thumbstick to play/pause (push up), seek (left/right), stop (down), change quality (pull a trigger and push

Fixes in this build (#1864698): Most UI is now moved into the HMD view. The video name, quality level, 360 format, status messages, buffering indicator, etc. are all displayed either above the Vive controller, or at the "front" of the video so it's easy to know what's going on. Quality level can now be adjusted from the Vive controller. Pull the trigger and you'll be shown the current quality level. Then push up or down to change to a different quality level. Press right (the A in a circle) and the video will go back to Automatic quality mode. Buffering, Seeking, Quality level changes, etc., w

An update to the Steam 360 Video Player is now available. Thank you for all the feedback and suggestions so far. We are keeping track of them and making sure to update our feature backlog. Fixes in this build (#1828669): For users with Room-Scale setups, the orientation of the video was rotated based on the room-scale setup orientation. The orientation of the video is now based on the rotation of the headset when the video starts. Various seeking issues have been fixed. Fix for Hunger Games 360 video where the L/R eye projection was reversed. Improvements for some stereo depth issues seen in a
