Controller UI improvements

A small update to the input system: - When using a game controller, the right stick now pans around the map. (Same behavior as dragging with the mouse.) - When moving between two far-distant panels with the d-pad or arrow keys, the game may scroll "zig-zag" along the pipe rather than jumping straight. (This is a quick decorative animation which was already used in mouse-mode; now it's applied to pad/arrow-key mode as well.)

A behind-the-scenes update. The app now natively supports the new Mac architecture. I've updated the Unity framework to something recent. This means that the "select your resolution" launch dialog box is gone. (Nobody ever used those things, right?) So it launches more smoothly on Steam Deck. No more tapping through the launch dialog. Enjoy!

I've uploaded a new beta release of Meanwhile. To try it, select Properties, Betas, and then select "beta - beta" from the menu. (The beta so nice we named it twice...) I was able to do some Steam Deck testing this summer, and I'm happy to say that Meanwhile works great. Left-stick to select a panel, A to advance. Menu button to bring up the menu. All smooth. Or you can play directly on the touchscreen by tapping panels. That works too. Enjoy your Steam Decking! Note: The previous release of Meanwhile used a launch dialog box that you had to click through. As of version 1.2, this dialog box is gone and the game is 100% controller-playable.

I’m a sucker for time travel shenanigans, which is good because Meanwhile: An Interactive Comic Book by Jason Shiga is packed with them. Meanwhile originally came out in traditional paper form back in 2010, and iOS in 2012, but last week it made itself at home on PC.
