Hey Warlocks, Today, at 09:41 AM CET, Project Warlock Daily Deal sales crossed the threshhold of 60 000 units towards the final hours of the two weeks' sale event. One that launched simultaneously with Doom: The Dark Ages launch on Steam. And it smashed the concurrent players count in the game's history reaching 396 people playing simultaneously. And it launched a barrage of reviews with some honey sweet praise, as well as some tar flavoured critique. Well, a game's never done it seems. Hey Warlocks! Following yesterday's update, we've identified and fixed an issue where player movement became inverted, causing players to move in the opposite direction of their input. This should no longer be the case, and movement should now respond correctly to your controls at all times. Enjoy, and see you in the next one!

This update addresses some of the issues highlighted by the community, introduces gameplay improvements, and should allow you to enjoy the remaining week of Project Warlock's Best Deal Ever at 90% knowing that you can't fall through the elevator shaft anymore! This year will mark Project Warlock's seventh birthday meaning it can now write, do simple chores and can legally get to play Minecraft, Rayman Legends and Sackboy: The Big Adventure, but sadly not Stardew Valley, Hogwarts Legacy and Stray. Not to mention, Project Warlock cannot in good conscience be allowed to play Wolfenstein 3D (PEGI 12), Hexen (PEGI 12) and let's not even start on the 1993 Doom (17+). Guess those three will have to wait. We're still due for a proper nostalgia trip further down the line, as December launch anniversary comes closer, but for now - a couple of important update

Hey Warlocks! We're back with another fix of an issue that's been reported recently, where changing the game's difficulty mid-play resulted in the game crashing, and this could only be fixed by restarting the game. This should no longer be the case, and switching difficulties during a single gameplay session should pose no more problems. Enjoy, and see you in the next one!

Hey Warlocks! After a longer break, we’ve managed to identify and fix the elevator issue several players reported. The bug caused players to sometimes fall through the elevators, and it made some of the elevators miss their destination points. Those issues should be fixed with this patch. As it turned out, the elevator issues were related to incorrect physics-related calculations within the game engine, due to which the position of some elevators could have miscalculated the player's exact location. We’ve managed to resolve the issue and make sure elevator's movement is now applied correctly.
