Hello, demonhearts and visual novel enjoyers! I'm glad to say that we've been making good progress on the last chapter of Demonheart: The Cursed Trial. A certain player choice will branch the story, the characters will say some different things as a consequence of previous choices, and there will be multiple endings. Because of this, the last chapter has a much higher word count, so there is more content to polish than in the previous chapters. We have yet to see how it will affect the actual play time. With around 21.900 words of new content, this takes the game over 133.000 words - my longest game so far. My latest project in the Demonheart world just got a major update! Demonheart: The Cursed Trial Chapter 6 is out! The Cursed Trial is a murder mystery / romance in which Raze ("The Seer") has captured a group of humans for the entertainment of his demonic master. (Raze doesn't really have a master, he just made a deal with someone and is playing along.) The main character, whose name you can change, can fall in love with two of her fellow captives. Here's what's new: Chapter 5 has been added to the game, taking the total word count over 110.000! There has been a slight redesign of the user interface, including displaying your character's name on the "Character" screen (previously "Alignment".) There have been some small changes to Chapter 4, in particular the approval values. In a previous update, I added the new opening video to the game.

Hello, demonhearts! I'm thrilled to announce that the text for Demonheart: The Cursed Trial, Chapter 5 is not only finished but also fully scripted into the game (at least for me!)
