Developer Teyon has made a name for itself by bringing beloved 1980s properties to life in videogame form with a staggering attention to detail. Terminator: Resistance is getting a four-hour narrative DLC campaign on PC and PlayStation 5-only. Terminator: Resistance Annihilation Line, due out on Steam and the PlayStation Store on 10th December, picks up mid-way through the main campaign story. The announcement trailer is below: John Connor orders protagonist Jacob Rivers to assist in the investigation of Northridge Outpost, a civilian settlement that's gone mysteriously silent. Other than a few small updates, Teyon and Reef Entertainment's FPS Terminator Resistance was released basically complete back in 2019 and hasn't had any major DLC released since. Now, however, it's looking like a new expansion may be revealed next week - and it could be based around Kyle Reese from the original movie. Nearly two years after the release of Terminator Resistance, the FPS is getting a story expansion. Publisher Reef Entertainment has announced that a set of "brand new" Terminator Resistance story DLC is on the way, but it won't be sharing any more details until the game's anniversary in November. The original Terminator Resistance was released in November 2019 and featured a new character, Jacob Rivers, fighting alongside John Connor in the Future War against Skynet and the machines. I played Terminator: Resistance as a slut.
