There have not been updates for a while, and I'm excited to make the new content available. It has been added as a separate button on the store page to sign up for playtesting. Playtesting allows you to load and play the game for as long as it is up on the page. The plan is allow access at least until Summer. The new updates will be available for PC only, but it's really good, so hopefully you got a good new PC over the holidays. The Endless Summer Surfing Challenge is already included in The Endless Summer Search For Surf. No need to buy it if you already have Search For Surf. The Endless Summer Surfing Challenge has 12 single player challenge rounds and two player contest. Learn to surf, complete the challenges, try all the players and the POV camera and have two player contests with a friend.
Some computers were experiencing a black screen on start. Game running but with a screen all black except the UI. This is a new build of the same game. If you don't have the problem then there is no need to update.
Updated the surfer movement to be more realistic. Now arms will move with the body to do turns and carves. The players are no longer shiny. I know, they're in the water so they should look wet, but instead now they have a more realistic look to them. Let me know if you like it. The board trims. As you surf across a wave your board would turn flat to the wave with no control. Now you board will adjust so it's flat to the ground when trimming sideways. This is more like real life surfing, and will allow you to cruise more on slow sections, and just in general, especially for tube rides. Try it p
This is a minor fix to the recent big update. Game started with controller configured and now starts as a keyboard setup. Other mostly minor UI button changes.
Learning to surf has been made easier. If you want to surf better and learn more maneuvers, you can play the challenges. 12 new challenges have been added. From riding time to tube rides, now you can try the increasingly difficult challenges or skip around and try different ones. Want to practice tube riding, go to level 7 and play the same wave until you get it wired. Learn how wave scoring works through practice chat and experimentation.
