We’re excited today to release our 1.09 patch, as well as our multiplayer demo! If you’ve been curious about the Valiant, you can now jump in and experience co-op, online competitive multiplayer, and skrmish mode to get a taste of The Valiant’s experience. We’ve also implemented a number of requested features in this patch, including tactical pause, a re-worked final boss fight in the campaing, robust gamepad support, and a number of other bug fixes and improvements. Hello everyone and welcome to our summary of everything coming in our upcoming update! As you may or may not know, the game has been out for a while now and after an initial set of patches (seven, to be precise) aiming to fix and balance different aspects of the game, comms went a little silent. Please note that checkpoint saves on the first three missions are incompatible with this update and require you to restart the corresponding mission. No overall campaign progress is affected. Features: For this patch, we focused on major updates to the first 3 missions of the game. Features ● Added “Skirmish Mode” option to the main menu. This allows players to take on A.I. opponents in 1v1, 2v2, and 1v2 matches completely offline Players can still take on AI opponents with friends via Custom Match as before ● Competitive Ranked matches have been merged in Quickmatch for quicker matchmaking experiences Mastery XP and unlocks will now be gained via Quickmatch.
