In Botanical Warden, The way you can customize your plants and acquire new ones is by exploring wild fields. These are places you can visit between the battles in which you can also heal yourself with and find characters with which you can interact and trade. There are 3 main ways you can customize your deck in wild fields: domesticate wild plants, use artificial selection to evolve a plant you already have or hybridize two plants by merging them into one. If you’ve read our last update, you might have learned that the Etziarbes and the other tribes in Botanical Warden use plants only as weapons. One of the reasons for is their lack of botanical knowledge. Another reason is that some plants grow to become actual weapons such as daggers and axes. In Botanical Warden’s combat, the plants that grow to become weapons allow the player to receive equipment cards for the duration of a fight. Corvac, the main character in Botanical Warden, is a member of the Etziarbes, a small group of humanoid birds struggling to survive in a desert region of the island of Alerbia. Their main rule has always been to stay on their territory and to interact as little as possible with the other tribes of Alerbia in order to stay safe. Like all of the peoples of the island, they use plants mainly as weapons and have to hunt for food.
