When Nintendo banned The Great Rebellion from the eShop, it was a serious blow to us - we put a lot of time and resources into this port and didn't get anything out of it. This put us into a tight spot and we had to come up with a plan fast. But we didn't give up and decided to get another of the games we are working on into a playable state as soon as possible: we will pivot to focusing on our oldschool fantasy dungeon crawler Dverghold primarily and instead of making it mobile first as originally planned, we are going to release the game in Early Access on Steam next year! Our port of The Great Rebellion for the Nintendo Switch console was scheduled for release on November 21st. Then suddenly, Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe pulled "The Great Rebellion: Edition 2084" from their eShops - one day before the planned release. We spent money on devkits and for months we worked on bringing The Great Rebellion to Nintendo Switch. - Fixed legacy event system breaking the options menu (only happened while being in-game). - Removed all automatic navigation from the menu entries to avoid the button selector breaking. - Fixed double pressing on the volume slider. - Added the option to skip the tutorial even without having played the tutorial yet. - Removed the refresh rate options from the listed resolutions and added a separate fps limiter. - Added option rollover for all the dropdowns.
