This update changes the default UI scale and resolution when playing on small-screen (and specifically Steam Deck) devices, to make the UI more sane (and, you know, immediately playable) on smaller screens.

The first post-release update for Governor of the West will bring four brand-new characters and three new attributes that change the way they play.
