Test players for Murder Is Game Over: Murder Otaku reacted positively to the new "early guess" feature where you can attempt to guess the killer before the explanation scene happens. It is an optional feature, and the correct guess results in an additional scene with a trophy. Since the feature is easy to add, I added it for Murder Is Game Over: The Blackinton Curse. Also new is an additional clue to find. This just makes the story slightly improved. Hope players enjoy the game and the new content! Don't forget to check out the new one!

I'm extremely proud to share that Murder Is Game Over: The Blackinton Curse was selected for the "Excellence In Narrative" award at Boston Festival of Indie Games. The judges provided wonderful feedback, and the event attendees had a lot of fun playing the game. Thanks to everyone involved for the support! Murder Is Game Over: The Blackinton Curse is an official selection at this year's Boston Festival of Indie Games! The event takes place at Cyclorama in Boston on Sunday, December 15th, 2024. I will be on-site with a booth showcasing the game, selling and promoting, and hanging out with fans. Excited to have my work recognized by the event organizers and praised by the critique staff! Moving forward Ideally, I’d like to create something that combines my favorite elements of all 3 games: the open-world map layout from the first game, the memorable showdown with a powerful antagonist in the second game, and the spooky, suspenseful atmosphere of the third game. Overall I’ve been pleased with the responses to this game series and the calls to keep making more Murder Is Game Over games. These are my thoughts on the series as a whole. Best exploration – Murder Is Game Over My initial concept for this game was to have a murder mystery that emphasized exploration much more inspired by RPGs than adventure games. In hindsight, the world design from the first game was well done in terms of giving the player freedom to move around the world
